Iconic Denim Brand Launches Online Contest to Find New Face of The Ultimate Riding Jean™ by Wrangler®
GREENSBORO, N.C. (March 28, 2013)– Wrangler® Western Wear announced today a nationwide call for entries into The Ultimate Cowgirl Contest, a Facebook® search for the next model of The Ultimate Riding Jean™ by Wrangler. Based on a gal’s ability to ride, rodeo and rock Wrangler jeans, the leader in western apparel will identify The Ultimate Cowgirl who will receive the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to represent the iconic denim brand.
Cowgirls 18 years of age and older interested in applying can log on to the Wrangler Western Facebook page beginning Friday, March 29 at noon ET. Participants will be asked to submit photos showcasing how she lives the western lifestyle, along with a brief essay about why she should be The Ultimate Cowgirl. Entries will be accepted through noon Friday, April 19. Those not entering the contest will have the opportunity to get involved by voting for their favorite entrant noon Monday, April 22 through noon Monday, April 29. Fan voting will determine the top 10 finalists, while a panel of judges including The 2011 Ultimate Cowgirl Taryn Hale, will face the tough task of evaluating the finalists on how well they embody the spirit of the western lifestyle.
