Red is a sprinting Thoroughbred, earning $469,399 in his lifetime.  He is also a proven race sire of Quarter Horses, with his colts averaging $25,630 per starter.  Red is also proving himself as a sire of barrel horses.  Xtrared, owned and ridden by Christina Richman narrowly missed the 2008 NFR by $214 and won the California Circuit.  Xtrared also was a successful futurity colt as a 4 year old in 2006.  Sandy Arave has already placed at two California WPRA rodeos with Red N Away in her first year of rodeo competition.  Red throws colts with great conformation and a lot of athleticism.  I owned four colts by Red before I purchased him.  Two are competition age and placed at several futurities.  Cut No Slack was 13th in the Montana Circuit in 2007.

Red is nominated to the Speedhorse races, 5-State, BBI, VGBRA Barrel Futurities and the Bitterroot (Idaho QH) Racing Futurity. He’s also enrolled in the WPRA’s PESI.
